Unique pelargoniums

The Uniques are a class, or section, of Pelargonium (or geranium) with a long heritage.  In most cases they are plants of large growth habit with small flowerheads of fairly large single florets. Most have scented leaves and are sometimes included in a the Scented-leaf section or class of specialist Shows, but you won't find a rose or lemon scent amongst them. Nurseries often have separate listing but this is no guarantee that all plants listed are Uniques, or that a few Uniques aren't listed elsewhere in their catalogue. A few Society Shows have a specific class for Uniques, otherwise the Scented-leaf or "any plant not catered for elsewhere" classes.
